Metabolic Technologies, LLC owns and has licensed patents covering uses for HMB in both animals and humans and in multiple forms including calcium HMB (myHMB®), HMB free acid (myHMB® Clear and BetaTOR®), myHMB® Clear + PEAK ATP®, and myHMB® + Vitamin D. Metabolic Technologies requires all retailers to obtain a license to use HMB in their nutritional products.
In addition, Metabolic Technologies requires that any formulation of HMB must contain sufficient HMB per serving to assure effectiveness when used according to directions. Metabolic Technologies monitors all products containing HMB to assure these standards are applied and aggressively pursues infringement to the full extent of the law.
